KBI/King Brothers plumbing fittings

I'm not familiar with this brand, but I see a fair number of them on the Ferguson website and others. Not particularly cheap. Google finds no such manufacturer. Is this a generic brand of crappy offshore made fittings?

A couple decades ago our store sold their sch 80 PVC unions and never had a problem. Today, I don't know.

KBI claims to make their fittings in the U.S.A. can't find their home page. I would ask one of their distributors i.e. Ferguson.

I was thinking that, at least back in the day, they were manufactured in Southern California.
