Perhaps the insulation contractor gave Robenco's house a scan to determine where the house needed insulation.
There seems to be a trend in the industry for using IR imaging (especially now that it's cheap- a drive-by can spot the egregious heat leaks from the street) but most still don't use blower doors.
Contractors who do blower-door + IR imaging directed air sealing and report before & after leakage rates go to the front of the line! Even if they're a few hundred more in total cost, there will be higher performance and lower risk of wet insulation when the air sealing is done properly.
