Top of the unit tighten the screws( don't try getting them super tight they will strip out) see if sound changes and take a pic of the top.

Fan grill hold the fan motor loose the.grill screws and jam some card board between grill and case. Look at the fan blade position POWER OFF. Blade is sounded by a sheet metal tube blade should be center in the tube where the bottom edge of blade should be above the bottom edge of the tube 1/4" to 1/2". If it needs to be moved spray shaft with wd40 or penetrating oil. If the blade might need to be raised or lowered loosen set screw ( depends how hard they cranked down the set screw) adjustable wrench on shaft try to turn the blade just don't go big on it. Spray into set screw.

I see no tube. This is a new unit just installed. Installer said it's fine, but Im not so sure. I also pressed on various parts including fan mount & grill mount.

Fan blade just turning in the free air doesn't do much. Put a sheet metal tube around the blade to spin in directs the air.
