Does this meet code for venting under sink?

Found this in client's home in Wisconsin. Assuming the open 1-1/2" vent under the sink serves as venting and assume it isn't tied to a roof vent stack. Also assume the trap at bottom serves same purpose an AAV would do to prevent sewer gases from coming up under sink.

My question is...

1) why do they have this coming out of the stack under the drain line
2) is this adequate of meet code for venting
3) should we add an AAV to top of the vent or is that redundant considering it has the trap

Much thanks in advance for the wisdom and experience of those taking the time to reply

That is not a vent, it looks like a short standpipe, possibly for draining a dishwasher.
The other white drain lines are also not correct, as you can't have two trap arms joining
like that (if that is what it is).
