I have a bathtub drain that needs to be moved over roughly 3 inches to accommodate the new free standing tub that will go in. Does this need to be moved from the plumbing underground or can we add bends to do what is needed? It would need to move over further into the dirt side of the photo, not into the slab. The water lines you see in the photo are from the old drop-in tub, they will be rerouted later.

It really depends on where the old trap was on relation to the concrete. If it was up against the concrete before and it needs to move 3"more into the concrete then you'll have to break or cut some concrete.

You should be able to build a trap arm with what you have. There should be minimal digging or concrete breaking you'll need some no hub bands.
