460TC waterflow indicator always on?

I just started using my 460TC and what I noticed is, that the waterflow indicator is always on, not flashing.

When is it supposed to be on? Just during the regeneration cycle or also when water is taken from somewhere in the house?

I think I remember it was not always on right after connecting it to the power source couple of days ago.
