    Sediment trap for gas dryer?

    Hi- is it necessary to install a sediment trap /drip leg for a gas dryer? I'm in Chicago, for the record. I can't find anything about this in the code and/or general guidance online. Thank you!

    Gleco sediment trap Installation

    I recently purchased a Gleco trap to catch clay sediment in my art studio sink. Today I discovered that the outgoing pipe was installed too low for an easy installation. I hope that there is a way to adapt the pipes to allow for installation of the Gleco trap. I am posting a photo of the trap...
