Yes, the pipe previously went around the window to roof level. I plan to replace that as well. Drill out the hub above the cleanout and replace with rubber hub insert for 2" pipe lowers the horizontal drain pipe below the cleanout going to the wall. That work?

Exterior vertical pipe looks like the attached pic. What's the best way to remove existing portions of the verticle drain pipe to accommodate a lower outlet? Thanks

1950's house using septic tank. The sink drains into a vented vertical pipe outside the house with cleanout access. Appreciate ideas on how to improve draining. Opposite sink backs up when using disposal. Drain backs up regularly.
