    landscape water loss?

    A sprinkler zone has about 7 rainbird popups. One of them (farthest from the controller) bubbles from the soil, as well as emitting a healthy spray. I suspect a fine crack in the pvc. Question: how much water am i losing in 10 minutes? Popup is attached to 1/2" PVC. thank you!

    Sprinkler valves spray water during watering cycle

    Six new sprinkler valves were installed by plumber. Everything works great except that the valves spray water when sprinklers are running--not at the solenoid, but under the metal cap. Is this normal? I can post a photo if it helps. Thanks in advance.
