No drain cleaners. I've been using the Home Depot and Menards stuff. They seem to have thin spots at the bottom. I barely rubbed them and they started leaking. They must be the 22 gauge you mentioned. Thanks for the info on the type and gauge.

hj, I found a JACLO P-trap that's 17 gauge and it has solid brass nuts with washers and a brass clean-out,too. Thanks for the info. Maybe those are the reasons why I've never seen one. I'll stick with the P-trap. I can handle that one.

I have 2 drains that were on my 2 bowl sink. The new sink has a single bowl. I need to hook up a dishwasher and a disposal. Can I use one of the drains for the dishwasher and the other for the sink/disposal? Would an air gap be desirable? Thanks.
