I’m installing an IKEA oven it has 12/3 BX coming out, says use 12 gauge wire in the install manual and 3.7kw@120/240. Sounds like it’s saying use 12/3 and 20 amp breaker ? But from my calculations should be 30amp with 10/3 ?? Can anyone help ?!

You mean a different Fleck valve, why not the 5600, and which one do you reccomend ?

That’s just an option I wouldn’t order it manual, the filter that is being sold on that link states it’s 8.2 gpm with a programmable fleck valve ?! Unless I’m not understanding it correctly ?

Scott, did this unit remove the iron ? Looking at a similar unit Terminox but it’s more money and your has a fleck valve and comes with a bypass. Did you have to install media, or was it already installed and did you consider Katalox media ?

I’m gonna ask what media it uses. What do the fleck units use, do you get options, and is there a link. ?

So from what you can tell you this Terminox is an aeration type unit that backwashes and those you listed are similar to the Terminox but brands that that are more proven basically ?!

Just got my well water tested iron is 2ppm. A neighbor one road over told me this heavy metal filter is what he uses and it got rid of rust stains ? I have a whole house filter already but still rust, can we add this before the whole house to hopefully stop the staining. We are not concerned...

We are not concerned with drinking it just making it safe for our plumbing fixtures, water heater etc. The rust stains is the big thing. If we can eliminate that, we are good.
