    Hot water heater venting

I just installed a new hot water heater..its an AO smith with the powered flue thing on it to try to keep more heat in if that makes any difference. The issue is the hot water that I replaced was quite a bit shorter so I couldn't run the venting like it was before. To add to the complications...

No water in shower, tried everything

I'm thinking its the valve too somehow. I honestly didn't think there was much to it but there mush be something going on in it and something must be clogged. I did a unscientific test on it don't know. I could find a test cap so I though id try a rubber drain plug, it fit just about perfect. I...

No water in shower, tried everything

No. When I pull the cartridge out and turn water on water will shoot out of the rough out. When I put the handle assembly back together with the cartridge in I get no water. Nothing ever comes out of the faucet anymore.

No water in shower, tried everything

I had a professional come and he couldn't figure it out, so I'm reluctant to spend money that I don't have for a guy to come and spend hours, while charging me, to search for a problem. Its nothing I cant handle its just finding the actual cause of the problem is what's proving difficult.

No water in shower, tried everything

I'm not even getting water to the faucet so the shower head isn't the issue. Tuche, I've tried everything I can think of. As for the plumber yeah I'm not sure, I think he was guessing because no one seems to have any idea of what's causing it. It was a homeowners warranty job so I don't know...

No water in shower, tried everything

I am absolutely out of options here. My issue started a while ago, keep in mind this is a fully remolded house with everything new in it. The shower worked without issues for probably 6 months. The water pressure in my shower was slowly going down and down. For a while it was a bearable...

Need to descale my tankless heater can you use a sump pump

I have to descale my tankless water heater. I've lost a bit of flow on the hot side apparent and its affecting the water pressure ion the shower. I have what I need but I didn't want to go spend the only on a pump if I didn't have to. I went to my dads house and he has a half horse sump pump...

    No pressure in my shower

I do suspect, simply from a process of elimination that it could be the water heter. Ill check it, its factory set at 120 and I have to open it up to lower it, if I even can. I was doing a little reading and it seems they need to be flushed periodically because scale can build up. Its only been...

    No pressure in my shower

I've been fighting with this for over a month now and I'm out of ideas. I figured I would try one last thing before calling in someone that will almost surely result in a hefty bill to fix. First off when I moved in the house had been gutted and completely remolded so everything in it is...
