it is very intermittent - it will drip 24 hrs after last use stop for hrs then start a slow drip again---- it should not have to drain out if the handle is off since its not a tub with a lower spout- maybe im wrong but if valve is closed with handle off why is their enought pressure to force...

master bath stall shower -original parts ----Had my delta 1400 series valve leak at a valve seam - no other leaks, drips etc . Valve was replaced by plumber with new cartridge, new round covers,handle etc with the current 14 series i believe. 10 hrs later the shower head started to drip...
