Well, it'd a good thing I happened to be up this morning and saw this recipe before they took it down (as they should have). I think I've got a copy of it somewhere now. I share your thoughts about NOLA's cusine and thought some good andouille sausage would spice it up a bit. But I am going to try the Vegan stuff just to see how bad it is.
