Redoing my bathroom top to bottom, any suggestions on a good tub that won't break the bank. Something that's solid on floor, don't want that bouncy hollow feeling under foot.

Kohler makes good cast iron tubs and acrylic.
With acrylic, it may be flush to the floor, or some may require a little mortar under for support. It depends on on what you find works for you on site.
American Standard makes a Princeton model, Americast; has a little flex.

I like the Toto but it's around 1800$, the Kohler Villager is around 550$ and looks nearly the same. The Villager is my top candidate right now.

Kohler Villager. It is solid and doesn't break the bank.
