What is the rough in distance for this toilet?

I'm confused by the two sets of bolts (4 total). The front bolts (on the right in the photo) are loose, so not doing anything at this point. So is the rough aligned with the back bolts (10"), or between the front and rear bolts (12")?

I will be replacing the toilet, and would like to know what to buy, without having to pull the old toilet first and put it back in the meanwhile. Cannot find any model/manufacturer info on the old toilet (maybe behind tank?).

Normally it would be the back set of bolts, 10"

I haven't seen a bowl like that either.
