Well conversion

I bought a house with a drilled well with a have an above ground pump. I was wondering how hard would it be to remove the pump and convert to a hand pump well?

Depends on how deep the well is? If it is a shallow well, less than about 25', it in not a hard job. If it is a deep well jet pump with a packer, it will be harder to pull. Plus, it will be deep enough a regular pitcher pump will not work and you will need a hand pump with a sucker rod that goes down the depth of the well.
