Point Defiance Park in Tacoma Washington.
A fun place to take kids.
I took my grandson Mason and my son Jamie to Point Defiance on Sunday.
I think Mason enjoyed the tower, looking out through the openings from the top. A good place to shoot from and be safe?
Was that even needed back then?
The trading post was mainly for trading fur.

We then took a little train ride to learn about logging in the past.
One of the machines, took 25 men to run. Fifteen to run it, and ten spare parts, I mean spare men.
One death per month, and 50 injuries to run it.
