I'm re-modelling my two bathrooms; my present tub - is pink in color (cast iron) is there a way to have it re-glazed to white. If it can be re-glazed is it durable, don't want to redo bath again.

It would be less work for me if I don't have to take this out.

You can pick up a cast iron tub in white for $300 to $500
Nothing beats a new tub finish.
If you are replacing tile, you should replace the tub at this time.

Refinishing the pink tub will cost $300 or more and the finish will not be as nice or last as long.
If the tile is staying, then it may be a good idea.
Replacing tile will add $1500 to $3000
