I've installed a Toto CST743S, and I have a leak in the bolt that holds the tank to the body. Facing the unit, it's the left side, water supply side. At first I thought I tightened the nut to tight. So I removed everything, used a little plumbers putty and re-tightened just snug to hold firmly. After over night there is about a quarter cup of water that drips down the bottom of the end of the bolt. I made sure the 3 points on the under side were touching evenly. What would be your suggestions?

Thank you

Terry

Plumbers Putty?
Did you say plumbes putty?

The first thing you need to do is remove the plumbers putty.

Did you try tightening the large nut on the flush valve with pliers?

You can also sand the inside of the tank where the bolts drop through too.

Leak

Thank you for the reply and the detailed instructions. I'm slightly confused. On two different instructions it shows a nut tightened to bolt directly under tank. The other shows the bolt going from tank to bowl then washer and nut. There were two washers and two nuts supplied with the unit. Is either way correct?
