Looking at replacing my submersible well pump in the spring. The pump being used right now is 10 years old and I believe is starting to get plugged due to iron in our water. I not only run our house off of this pump, but also our sprinkler system. I recently cleaned the screen on the pump but also put new pvc piping on the system. I noticed when I started up my sprinkler system that I only could maintain 47psi. Usually it's upper 50's. We have plenty of water and pressure in our house is why I'm waiting until next spring. Just thought I would start buying things little by little now. I looked up our current pump and the company was acquired a few years ago. Here is what I am using now: Aermotor T-20, 3/4 hp, 2wire, 20gpm. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
