My well went dry and burned out my pump, so I replaced the pump but the water is slow to return. Anytime I switch on the pump I get a great amount of water, but only for about two minutes, then it runs out and I shut off the pump so I don't burn this one out. Do you think my water will come back up to a usable level. I didn't start to get my water back until I had the neighbor turn off the sprinkler he had been running for two weeks.

Your neighbor is running a sprinkler for two weeks?

You may have a screened well that is not producing enough water because the screen may be plugged.

If your well is dry, it does not come up to it's original water level only to be pulled back down by the pump.

Your situation indicates a low production problem of some kind.
