Moen Chateau, how fix broken faucet?

The Retainer Clip must be lifted out first before the cartridge can be removed.
It takes either the 1200 or the 1225.

This tool will rock the cartridge back and forth to hopefully loosen it from the walls of the brass body. It then screws in and lets you spin it out. Since your screw is broken, it looks like you may need the pliers.

You can go with the crystal know like you had, or they also make a lever handle trim for it.

That's how my other bathroom with a Moen works, but this one I don't know if Moen. I can't pull out the cartridge, it won't budge.

You have Moen. It's a pull out for volume and left for hot and right for cold. Assuming they plumbed it normally.

If hot is to the right, with the handle off, rotate the stem 180 degrees. You can check to see which side has hot before you install the handle.
