3 Great Local Rock Bands in One Night! Celebrate the end of summer with a killer night of rock featuring three amazing bands: Future Fossils, Out From Underneath and Alkai Diggins

Future Fossils
Future Fossils are a 3 piece band from Seattle with an indescribable style that has risen from the depths of obscurity to one of the most respected bands in the Seattle area. They draw people to the stage with they’re own brand of energy, vibe and intricate arrangements that have defined their unique sound.

Out from Underneath
Seattle based original rock band, Out From Underneath has stamped their brand of music across the northwest and beyond from Alaska to Hawaii and California. While touring the west coast the band continues to write and record. They are set to release their first live album and forth studio album in the upcoming months. In 2009 the band was acknowledged by receiving the award “Best Rock Band” from Hot Rocks TV. Veterans of the Seattle music scene, Out from underneath continues to impress with their defining live performance.

Alkai Diggins
Over the decade that Alkai Diggins has been playing music they have gone from teenage kids with real potential to partially deaf bear hugging recluses. If you are fortunate enough to have been on the receiving end of one of their awkwardly firm handshakes you know these guys have played too many dives to comfortably fit on a respectable resume. So do loud guitars and years of colic screaming age like a “fine wine?” I doubt it, but the blues and their trademark brand of heavy music go together like bacon and maple bars.

This will be a good show this weekend. The Kirkland Performance Center is a great place to see bands, and the bands are going to be good.

Here's a video with my son Jamie singing, his day job is plumbing with me, though he has recorded for MTV with his band too.
