Kitchen sink disposer drain advice?

Looking for advice on finishing this drain connection. Converted single sink to double and added disposal. Trap is too far from current drain line, which has half the trap fitting glued to it. Any way to do this without cutting the pvc drain line? If cutting is only way, what is best solution? Thank you!

Cut the PVC enough to glue an elbow with a hub trap adapter, or just a hub adapter close to the wall. Then you will have good adjustablity.

Usually, the max center-to-center offset for a p-trap is 3.25 inches. The p-trap in my avatar is a fake.

Here is another configuration that would probably not need an elbow:
