You need the adapter that bends the outlet down to the floor flange.

Here is an adapter for a Toto CST414 toilet on the left. The CST416 on the right.

Awsome!
What about the euopean outlet on the toilet?
Do i need a tranformer or can I just pick up a outlet converter?
Thanks
John

Well, it's only awsome if you can find an adapter like that and it fits your bowl.
I don't know anyone that sells generic parts like that.

Why in the world would you want to install this in your home. Even if you can figure out how to adapt it and make it work, it will impossible to get worked on when it needs servicing. Frankly, my biased guess is that even if you make it work, it will never meet expectations. European toilets have never struck me as being much good.

Just crazy I guess :p
I picked it up at a rummage sale for $10 & now I have a bathroom I'm re-doing & thought it would be cool to install it.
It will not be impossible to work on. The only thing that needs work on are impossible people! :D
Its brand new & I dont think a $1700 toilet will need servicing soon:p
If it does become a bugger I'll just rip it out. Not that big of deal.
Thanks for all your help getting this thing in!!!! ;)

If you can get the Aquia one adapter, it may have a chance of working.
Or, if the have the adapter in the instructions, maybe you can modify it.

It would be kind of interesting to have an unusual european toilet there.
What other functions does the toilet have?

I think it has a bidet w/ water temp settings.
Also a heated seat w/ temp setting.
It may have a self cleaning feature as well?

Looking at the back of the toilet i don't think there is enough room for a Uni-fit rough in because it needs to be able to go under the bowl where it connects to the floor flange.
Laufen uses a "Vario" rough-in kit the same as "Duravit" it's a Duravit model #001422 sorry don't know the Laufen but you will probably get it from Duravit easier.
The Vario connector connects direct to a pipe not a floor flange so you will need to do some modifications to your piping.
