What would be the best method of converting 3/4 copper tubing to 3/4 CPVC?
Should I use a male copper adapter into a female CPVC fitting, or a female copper fitting with a male CPVC fitting screwed into it.
I read a post somewhere that said one or the other is more prone to leaks, but I can't remember which one.
Also, I have read that you should not use Teflon tape when joining fittings.
Is this true?
Thanks for any help.

This is what I've used many times without problems.
