Hey folks,
Wife and I installed an alcove tub the other day over a concrete slab, so working room was next to zero. I would have preferred to install the drain shoe and overflow to the tub and then put the tub in but due to spacing and where the stub outs are I couldn't do that, so we had to install the drain and then put the tub on top. Ended up with the drain shoe leg having a slight upward angle (sealed to tub fine and has no leaks) and so now there is a small amount (maybe 1/4" - 1/2") of standing water left in the drain shoe after the tub empties. Tub drains fine with normal speed based on my limited testing of it, but just wanted a little reassurance that this wouldn't be a long term issue. Appreciate the responses.
