I am adding a basement bath. My home has a pre-installed vent for a basment bath runs up to the 2nd floor and ties in at the proper place.

I am concerned about the number of tie-ins at one location for the various vents and Im having a hard time figuring out how to calculate it per the charts and values in the code book.

The pre-plumbed vent ties into a 2" vent line that currently vents:

2- 2nd floor bathroom sinks
1- 1st floor toilet
1 - 1st floor bathroom sink
1- kitchen sink
1- basment wash sink/ washing machine drain

This vent, line, in turn, ties into the 3" vent stck that goes through the roof that also vents:

1- 2nd floor toilet
1- 2nd floor shower

Will adding may basement bath with a sink, toilet, and shower be too much?

Thanks in advance,
Robert

You can vent three complete bathroom sets with a 2" pipe, assuming that there are also other vents in the home; which yours does.
