Your use of demonizing, othering language is unjust, divisive, and just plain mean. An undocumented immigrant is not an invader and is just as likely to be a hard-working person trying to provide for their family as any documented immigrant or any citizen. I suggest you stop viewing them as the enemy and try viewing them as a neighbor.

When people came to NY they went to Ellis Island and after meeting with officials were granted asylum.

When American marines captured Iwo Jima, they were proud to raise the stars and bars.

Throughout history it is custom to raise the flags of the invaders to show how powerful their country is.

When my employees and my partners came to the USA they did NOT fly the Russian, Albian, or Ireland or Poland or those from Guinea or Benin or Kenya flags.

They were thankful to be here and swore allegiance to America and in most cases learned to "Speak" English to show they are willing to assimilate.

They were not placed in 4- and 5-star hotels, or given $2,500 vouches or not even given clothes or I phones or food stamps they found employment and even went to night school to become better tradesmen on their own time .

They came here for a better life knowing the countries they left were not going to provide them with the opportunity to have a better life for their family.
