I am rerouting a slab leak in copper lines through the ceiling bay. I am stymied as to why there are two 3/4" pipes entering/emerging from the slab when there is only one 3/4 coming off the cold water supply and then leading up to the hot water tank. They shouldn't be connected under the slab...
