    Shower drain pipe separating

Actually if I run water through a hose there is no leak as it doesn't get into the gap. When water flows along the wall of the pipe some of flows into the gap.

    Shower drain pipe separating

It seems that my shower drain pipe is separating from the sewer line. I have been noticing the baseboard next to it getting damp at the bottom and an investigation led me to this conclusion. What is the easiest way to fix this? Please don't tell me to break my 1 year old shower pan.

    Water leak around shower base

This is a tiled shower with liner, concrete etc. I think I fixed the problem. I applied putty to the gap between the strainer body and drain pipe. There was a 0.5' gap there. but I am still not sure how water leaks after entering the gap. I took a shower today and there has been no signs of...

I had a shower (marble) built around a year ago and I noticed that the baseboard paint in the adjoining walk-in-closet is peeling off at the bottom. Also the grout at the floor/wall intersection is turning orange. I cleaned it off with vinegar and baking soda. I do not feel any dampness on the...

Both my peerless faucets are not hot enough. I replaced both the hot water supply cartridges. When it is running I can barely hear water flowing out of the heater. When I run other faucets water flow is more evident. Water doesnt flow when the heater suppky is shut off.

    Hot water issues in bathroom

This happened the day we replaced our heat pump. Our old one used to supply hot water to the heater using heat from the heat pump. Now its just the water heater giving hot water. The water used to be very hot back then so I guess when it was mixed with cold it gave me hot water. Now since the...

    Hot water issues in bathroom

No. I tried replacing all cartridges for single handle faucets and the sink hot water faucets too. I shut off the laundry cold water supply. Nothing seems to change. Its like the master shower and sinks are on a different hot water line.

    Hot water issues in bathroom

My his and her sinks also give lukewarm water. Only my tub is giving hot water in the master bath. The guest bath is fine. I was told that there could be a croosover at the faucets but it is 2 handled. So I am not sure how the cold water gets into the hot water pipe.
