    2" shower trap

    Thanks John; I took it out and and put a 'P' trap in and straight up to. I noticed that the trap is lower than the main line that it connects to. The trap refilled with water a couple hours after I replaced it. It must be flowing in from the main line. Dave

    Is this shower trap setup within code or plumbing standards?It forms loop back to get the correct distance to a drain location for a 60"x 32" right hand tub replacment shower pan.It can't really be moved because it connects to the main from there which goes under a wall. Thanks
