Sums it up for me! I was debating an AAV rather than the twisty vent I was going to have to run around a pass-through window. Reading this thread makes it all so clear. NO AAV!

Well thanks to everyone for the advice... Looks like I'm running the traditional vent! So... blue route or red route? Also, for ease of putting in the P trap and disposal, should I move the drain pipe so it comes out of the wall?
