I took out the 1.25" steel well pipe and sand point and replaced it with a 1" pvc pipe and foot valve. I measured at least 5' of water. When priming it all I get is dirty water and the tank won't fill. I can only get 6 lbs of pressure. New pump worked good with the old pipe at first but then...
