If it's not leaking would you change it . Looking at it again I don't think it's a compression fitting. Looks like a threaded on shutoff

Yeah I been deep diving into projects that I will come across. I've done some light diy plumbing but haven't messed around with angle stops yet. Just two water heaters three garbage disposal a dishwasher and a few faucets

What about the brass SharkBite adapter? (for future reference)

Could I disconnect the pipe and you a male sharkbite brass adapter. Then use copper or PEX from the wall to the new shut off

So when the time comes to change it would you just change the angle stop and not the pipe?
