    Clarification Hey hj, The cleanout does not have a valve. It is a threaded cap that covers the cleanout. Will I need to use glue when connecting a male and female threaded connection? Thanks in advance.

    The horizontal drain connects to the sanitary tee and goes to the main drain. The sanitary tee is right above the cleanout valve. Renovating kitchen and the horizontal drain won't have a slope.     Diagonal upward drain Kitchen drain pipes run horizontal to the main drain. Will there be a problem with drainainge if there is a diagonal upward slope (3"-4" slope) to main drain? thanks in advance
