    Slightly Leaking Union

I did a shower remodel with 3/4” copper and put two unions in between the main supplies and the rest of the work. I left the wall open and noticed a very small leak from one of the copper unions. The CW Union comes up vertically and makes a 90 degree turn for a short run into the shower valve...

Does anyone know of a 20-50 gallon electric HW tank that has a 1” inlet / outlet?

Hot water flow tankless gas + electric tank + recirc loop

No PEX. All copper. Want to know if there is an electric water heater with 1” inlet and outlet (and correspondingly sized dip tube, or if I need to replumb the hot water main some other way to maintain flow rate. Bottleneck is the 3/4” inlet/outlet on the hot water heater.

Hot water flow tankless gas + electric tank + recirc loop

Yes, house has a Spa shower and big bathtub. Incoming house pressure is set to 90 PSI via PRV then goes through 3 big blue water filters in series (40”) with minimal pressure drop (to 80 psi). There are pressure gauges before and after each filter to tell what needs to be replaced and when...

    Toilet Noises

You are correct, sir, that is EXACTLY what the problem was. The bowel was being overfilled. WHY would this happen with a brand new TOTO toilet?

    Toilet Noises

No, this happened with both toilets and I can see that the valve closes before the waterline hits the overfill tube.

    Toilet Noises

I could do that by cutting into the vent stack in the attic, but it‘s the same amount of work for me. Toilet isn’t caulked, would take just a few minutes to pull and reset.

    Toilet Noises

Toilet leaking from base (where it met the tile floor). Pulled it, flange is 1/4” - 3/8” above tile floor. Replaced wax ring, replaced toilet. Still leaking. Noticed a hairline crack in toilet base…not sure if that was the issue or if I tightened the bolts too much. Replaced with a TOTO...
