Where to drill for well on this lot

    I'm attempting to find out if there would be a recommended place to look/drill for wells on this lot. There is a river and then steep "mountiainside" up to a plateau about 165' above. The green X represents where a house will be built on this plateau. There is a roughly 100' square for scale. This is in central Alabama.

    An experienced local well driller would be your best source of information on this. Knowing about other wells in the area is the best way to pick a spot to drill.
