    Gary Slusser That's all folks!

What type pump is it, jet or submersible? My guess is a jet because there aren't bearings in a sub. What brand? Describe what you've done so far.

Most motor bearings (good motors that is) are factory greased not oiled. Oil will not last long at all on them and for all the work involved in taking the pump and motor apart, new bearings would be a far easier solution. Most motors use 6203 bearings front and back and they are the least expensive bearing there is.
