Is that your well with a white well cap in the right rear? Is water squirting out the top of that o-ring?

I don't understand how a bad o-ring there would make that pulsing sound.

I also see flooding in the hole. I think you think this is residual water, and is not being replenished, right?

correct. the superior oring was replaced recently. when its bad, water will flow off the cap.

aside of the pulsing sound, the pump never turns off, and I have no reason to believe the pressure switch is not working.

any ideas?

So, after a few tests, it looks like my problem is with the lower o-ring. I closed everything and still can hear water being pumped, and as its not getting out of the casing, I'm assuming it's going back to the well.
