Replacing well pump with the Grundfos SQ-320. Slow start on it with a full load amperage of 8.4 amps. I have about 50 feet from the panel to the pressure switch then about 330 feet down the well housing. 380 feet of 12 gauge with that amp draw puts me at 5.3% voltage drop. Is that acceptable?

I think your pump is a 5 GPM • MODEL 5SQE07-320 (230 volt)

The Franklin AIM manual says with a 3/4 hp pump, you can use 480 ft (one way) of #12.

The SQ pumps spec Supply Voltage: 1x200-240V +6%/-10%, 50/60 Hz
Your AC supply is probably 240 VAC nominal and the pump is 230 VAC nominal.

So I think more than fine, with thinking about the voltage drop.

Also, note that the nominal voltage on your pump is
