Going to install a sink in the area the box currently sits. What would be the proper way to tap into the sewer drain there? I dont believe the pipe will flex enough after its cut to install a santee there. Also would it be correct to install a wye in the current air vent? Colorado Springs code uses 2018 ipc I think.

Depending on your height you need to cut a wye into the horizontal drain pipe. Wye with st.45 to make a 90 up out of the drain, then santee (street san tee would be helpful but they arent readily available) vertically then drain to the sink and vent to the vent.

Connecting to the vent just to the left would you use a upside down santee?
