I have a question regarding Linear Drains and UPC plumbing codes - in particular where the channel body has a flange, and can be used with a surface applied waterproofing membrane.
Is the design shown in the picture likely to meet these requirements? What would be the main elements of concern?
All the drains I've seen sold in North America have a circular strainer/inlet and a straight outlet. This one has an oval shaped strainer which also acts as a mini p-trap. In addition the outlet is 90 degrees rather than straight.

Thanks

Ihsan
