Hi everyone, I'm having an issue and I do think it's the trunk sizing. It's been like this since I bought this house.
Here's what I have. The furnace is a 2,000 cfm's
It's split in half. Half for the downstairs and half for the upstairs with an 8x20 main trunks.
But the real issue is I'm not getting a lot of airflow for the upstairs. And that's 8x20 from the basement all the way up into the attic for the second floor. Once it's up in the attic coming off of the trunk I have 4 bedrooms and a bathroom, each with a 7" flex to supply each room.
In the 5th bedroom, very big I have 3 7" flex lines and this is also on the end of the trunk. By no means is this getting enough airflow.
Any ideas at all if I need more or what?
