Sterling or Aqua Systems informarion

I’m looking at installing a softener at my cabin with well water that currently has no softener etc. Been searching the site quite a bit and feel that I’ve come to the general consensus that the online softener websites should not be bought from. I’ve called all my local suppliers I can find and they offer either sterling softeners or aqua system. Sounds like either or has various models that comes with a clack or fleck valve depending on the model. I don’t seem to find hardly any info on Sterling or aqua systems on this site. And recommendations or recommendations otherwise from these brands?
