Hello I have a Rheem ecosense tankless water heater. I eliminated the water flow switch sensor because is not working. I had to do a bypass. I want to know if is safe to use like that in the meantime until I get the new sensor.

If it doesn't know how much water is going through it how does it know how to adjust the flame. If too little flame, piss-warm water. Too much flame and it seems the heat exchanger would get too hot and possibly cause damage. IDK I'm just thinking of how my Richmond (cheap Rheem) fires with water flow and demand.
