I have a 16 year old 85 gallon Berkely pressure tank with a leaky bladder. The bladder is available for $155 and I am thinking about replacing it myself rather than buy a new tank. Has anyone replaced a tank bladder? How hard is it? Any tips? I have the tank manual that does contain replacement procedure and it looks easy but I am told it is far from it as the bladder is quite large and has to be installed in a relatively small gap.

The last one I did, I removed the bottom flange, then had to reach inside the tank with a razor knife and cut the bladder out a piece at a time. It's expanded so much that you can't pull it out of the hole. It took me about 2 hours to get the old one out. To get the new one in, you'll need to roll it up very tightly, put some baby powder on it and work it in the hole. It's a pain.
I decided that I wouldn't do it again.
