I am trying to remove a PF/2 Energizer unit from my toilet to replace it with a regular flushing toilet mechanism. Any advice on how to get it out?

After unbolting the china holding tank you'll find two plastic locknuts holding the PF/2 in place.

Like "HJ" said, you can't replace the PF/2 with a conventional valve but Terry discusses an effective PF/2 replacement option here.

Good luck.

the only way a pressure assist toilet will flush properly is with a pressure assist tank. So unless you REALLY need or like the pressure assist, you can buy an entire new toilet for the price of the "replacement" tank.
