Hi all.

I need to run water from a manifold to a kitchen sink faucet using a dedicated 1/2" PEX line. The manifold is within a few feet of the faucet and has a cutoff valve for this line, so I do not see a need for an extra cutoff valve at the faucet.

I am thinking of running 1/2" PEX directly to the faucet using a swivel adapter, like one at the link.

The valve on the manifold is NOT something I would want to turn on and off many times, unless you have spare openings you can shift the line to when the valve fails.
